Anticipation for Marvel’s Loki has been sky high ever since the show was first announced. WandaVision broke hearts and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier broke boundaries, but Loki has promised to break our brains with a sprawling, time travel-heavy plot that might have massive consequences for the MCU multiverse in upcoming entries like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-Man: No Way Home. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, The Rings of Power showrunner Patrick McKay said that he and fellow showrunner J.D. Payne expect to work on season 2 for “another couple years.” Which is no surprise seeing as their goals for season 2 are to be “bigger and better” on “every level … by an order of magnitude.” How exactly season 2 will be bigger or better is yet to be determined, but it’s nice to know that this team isn’t looking to diminish the quality or scale of the show just to get it out into the world faster....

It’s almost hard to believe that Luke Cage Season 2 marks the ninth season of the Marvel and Netflix collaboration. Their trademark blend of superheroics and prestige TV has been around long enough that some noticeable tics and bad habits have formed, but when they hit the mark, they really hit it. And sweet Christmas, Luke Cage Season 2 is good. Luke Cage is now the third Marvel series to have a second season make it to air (after Daredevil and Jessica Jones)....

Manifest Season 3 Episodes 7 and 8 “Destination Unknown” is an apt title for the latest episode of Manifest because where in the hell are we headed with all this? As nice as it is to have major developments in the investigation into the callings and their origin and purpose, the introduction of sapphire residue may have been a bridge too far. It’s difficult to say with sci-fi dramas how much made-up stuff is too much; for example, the lifeboat idea was a great twist that raised the stakes considerably....

Not only does Ethan Hawke’s cult leader Arthur Harrow give off creepy vibes, but the teaser is filled with jump scares. There’s even a menacing, skeletal creature sure to be the Egyptian god Khonshu, who resurrects Spector and makes him his earthly agent. Really, the tone shouldn’t be too much of a surprise because Moon Knight has his roots in horror. The character first appeared in Werewolf by Night #32 (1975) as a bounty hunter sent to capture the lycanthropic Jack T....

Ahead of the title’s release in November, Game Informer has dropped a preview of Spider-Man: Miles Morales‘s first boss fight between Miles and Rhino, who’s returned to get revenge after the events of the first game. Check out a brief clip of Miles facing off with Rhino in the video below: Game Informer also unveiled two new suits that set Miles apart from Peter Parker. The first suit is called the 2020 suit, which sports a very cool jacket and a mask with headphones so that Miles can listen to some tunes while taking down bad guys....

According to multiple published reports at The Hollywood Reporter, The Beat, ComicBook.com and others, Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras, Executive Editor Mark Doyle, Vice President of Global Publishing Initiatives Bobbie Chase, and Senior Story Editor Brian Cunningham were among those who lost their jobs. Doyle oversaw the successful rollout of DC’s Black Label publishing initiative, and Chase headed up DC’s extremely successful young adult graphic novel line, in case you were wondering if there was any rhyme or reason to the layoffs....

To get us back up to speed, after years of being off TV, a Kickstarter campaign started up in 2015 and successfully brought MST3K back for an eleventh season on Netflix for 2017. It ran for fourteen episodes and while the new cast needed some time to figure themselves out, it had plenty of high notes. Then things seemed to wither before it had a chance to soar. The twelfth season hit in 2018 with a mere six episodes, each cut shorter than your usual MST3K episode....

Like other platformer fighting games before it, MultiVersus launched with a healthy, if small, collection of playable characters. Everything from fan-favorite DC characters such as Batman and Superman to Loony Tunes favorites such as Bugs Bunny and Taz. Of course, Warner Bros.’s influence extends well beyond those properties.
